The Long Scholarship Fund

The Long Scholarship Fund was established through the estate of Dr. Ron Long to continue support for Jamaican students enrolled at Luther Rice. 

Over the course of Dr. Long’s life, he and Mrs. Long were instrumental in training Jamaican students for ministry.  Their educational legacy lives on through this scholarship.

 

The fund allows Luther Rice to award approximately $2,000 per year to Jamaican students.

 

Since the fund’s inception several years ago, approximately $5,000 of the fund’s earnings has been awarded to three Jamaican students.
