Pastor Danny was born in Huntington, West Virginia, where he lived until he was six years old.  At six years of age, his family moved to the Greater Daytona Beach area and have remained here for the past 33 years.  It was in high school that Pastor Danny first felt the call of God to the ministry, and he pursued the study of college athletics which led him into coaching kids for 16 years.  This prepared him for dealing with youth of all ages and diverse backgrounds.  He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree and became a high school teacher for this season of his life, beginning at Mainland High School, where he taught/coached for 14 years before transferring to DeLand High School and then to Atlantic High School for approximately one year each. Pastor Danny and his lovely wife, Nikki, have been married for ten years and have one daughter, Charlee, and are expecting their first son, Levi, to arrive very soon.  Pastor Danny loves to spend his free time with his family, working out, watching football, playing with his daughter, and going to the beach.  After 16 years of teaching/coaching, Pastor Danny resigned from the public school system and began serving as Student Pastor of Providence Church in 2023.  His passion as Student Pastor is to help middle- and high-school students come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and then to foster and develop relationships with them so as to have an eternal impact on each one as they grow in their Christian walk.
